The short version: Chores & Stars collects nothing. Everything your family enters stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

Data collection

Chores & Stars does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no network features. All chores, goals, stars, profiles, and photos are stored locally on your device in a private database and never leave it.

Photos

If you choose to add a profile picture or a photo of a drawing, the app asks for permission to use your camera or photo library. Those photos are stored only on your device inside the app. When you save a drawing back to your camera roll, that copy goes only to your own photo library.

Children

Chores & Stars is designed for families. Because the app collects no data and has no online features, no information about children (or anyone else) is ever gathered or transmitted.

Third parties

The app uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes everything in it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address.
